Are We Searching For Aliens All Wrong?

Almost all of us grew up watching movies like Contact or Signs, and we still think that searching for aliens involves a lonely scientist sitting in a dark room with giant headphones, waiting for a 'beep' from stars like the aliens know we exist but are too lazy to meet or even talk to us. For a long time, that was basically the plan! Can you imagine one of the smartest people with several PhDs in their respective fields couldn't think of a 'logical' solution. But as we settle into 2026, a lot of astronomers are starting to ask a slightly embarrassing question: What if we've been looking for the wrong thing this entire time?(wait... It took them decades to realize this🤯?!) And today we are going to shed light on this 'search for extraterrestrial life', our mistakes and what we are doing to avoid repeating those same mistakes. So, let's dive in! Traditionally, we’ve focused on "Radio SETI." The idea was that an advanced civilization would ...

Finally! The First Post (Or: How I Spent 3 Hours Picking a Font)

Me, doing what I am best at.

Am I dreaming?

Slaps myself twice...

No, no. It is REAL!!

So, it is finally official. I've finally stopped talking about writing a blog and actually pressed the "Publish Button".

I know, I know-the internet is a vast ocean already full of countless stones called 'Blogs', and you're already wondering, "Do we really need another blog?" and the answer is probably no, but my friends think I'm hilarious, so..... here we are.

Suddenly remembered that I have a ton of homework to do but have only 2 hours before his bedtime

OH NO! I almost forgot that I have a lots of homework to do and it's almost 8pm and I have to sleep at 10.

But let me intoduce myself atleast....

Clears my throat

I'm.... well.. just someone who’s figuring things out, and I live mostly in my favourite nation.. imagiNATION. Let's keep the jokes aside for now.

By day, I am a student. But by night (or whenever I’ve had enough caffeine), I’m an enthusiast of astronomy.

To give you a better idea of who you're dealing with, here are three facts about me:

1. Coding and Thinking about Space: I am actually quite good at these as compared to my age.

2. Drawing: I’m terrible at this, but I do it anyway because I enjoy the chaos.

and an extra fact: I am an Ambivert.

NOW, the real question is "Why this blog exists?"(Besides my need for attention)

I decided to write this blog because spend an alarming amount of time just thinking about the COSMOS, and its mysteries, remember... JUST THINKING... because I do not seem to make any progress. Well, to be honest, who progresses by "just thinking".

So, to turn that time into something useful, I decided to write this blog. That's it.

Message for you:

If you’re looking for a whole encyclopedia about astronomy, you might be in the wrong place. But if you want to know mind-boggling facts and uncover mysteries about the space and a few laughs along the way, we’re going to be best friends.

What’s the Plan?

I’ll be posting here weekly(or whenever my Wi-Fi works). You can expect deep dives into the cosmos, occasional rants about everyday life, and hopefully some tips that actually make your life easier.

trying not to be weird

Don't just stand there in the digital doorway! Say hi.

Drop a comment below and tell me: if a black hole eats a star, does it burp? Or just tell me your favorite way to spend a Sunday morning.

Thanks for sticking around for the "Day 1" awkwardness. It can only get better from here... right?
